YOUR VIDEO CLIPS WANTED !!
Manchester International Festival and Todd Graft at Microchunk are to create the biggest indoor screen installation in the world. With your help we want to embed thousands of video clips relating to our 10 themes, into the main visuals storyboard we've crafted to create a journey from Industrial Revolution to Digital Revolution. Our motivation is to pose questions about global matters that affect us all and look for answers – in the community, in technology, in our use of media and in ourselves. We are exploring global issues and making connections with Manchester and the North West.
Submit your stories and ideas to be part of the video mosaic, responding to the main ten themes of the event. Here are some questions to get you started:
- What does freedom mean to you?
- Are you free?
- What are you afraid of?
- Do you want to save our planet?
- Who or what do you look up to?
- What do you believe in?
- How do you experience nature?
- Do you know where your food comes from?
- Is there life without the internet or mobile phones?

Submission Guidelines
Video clip specifications:
- Length: between 3-30 seconds
- Resolution: minimum of 180 x 135, up to PAL 25 frames/sec
- Please avoid DivX or any other very high compression format
There are two ways of submitting your video clip

Please do not attempt to send video clips via email. We cannot return any submitted material. Deadline: 8 June!

By submitting visual content to Microchunk you consent that this material may be shown live at Industrial Resolution - on 6 & 7 July 2007 - and if used live, will be recorded as part of the master recording of the show for use at a later date. You also hereby assign Microchunk Ltd and its' successors the right to use and to permit others to use this content, in its current form, or an edited form and in any format in all media world-wide in perpetuity. You hereby warrant your rights to authorize such use.
